and the Jaybirds

Cordova Bay United Church
813 Claremont Ave. ~ Victoria

After a two-year-hiatus, we are pleased to present contemporary mandolin master John Reischman and his renowned band The Jaybirds in their 12th annual Bluegrass Christmas, in support of Our Place Society.

This limited seating concert, featuring a powerhouse lineup of some of North America’s finest acoustic musicians, has been described as “a lovely romp through the snowy backwoods of American roots music.” In addition to music in the spirit of the season, it will showcase new music from Reischman’s  acclaimed new solo album New Time & Old Acoustic, as well as new tunes from the Juno-nominated album 13 or So by banjoist Nick Hornbuckle.

In keeping with B.C. health protocols, proof of double Covid-19 vaccination is required and masks are mandatory.

SEATING IS LIMITED to abide by the venue’s requirement of 50% capacity, allowing for a safe and comfortable concert experience.

$5 from every ticket goes to Our Place Society, which supports Greater Victoria’s most vulnerable communities including the working poor, impoverished elderly, mentally and physically challenged, the addicted and the homeless.
