A talented multi-instrumentalist, arranger, songwriter, performer, and composer, Eli West is well-known to our festival through his appearances with John Reischman, and his collaborations with Cahalen Morrison, Bill Frisell, Tim O’Brien and many more. His latest album, Tapered Point of Stone, was recorded in Chapel Hill, NC with Andrew Marlin (Watchhouse) on mandolin and guitar, Christian Sedelmeyer (Jerry Douglas) on fiddle, himself on mandolin, guitar, and banjo, and Clint Mullican (Watchhouse) on bass. Appearing with Eli at Cowichan is Forrest Marowitz on bass and Ryan Drickey on fiddle.
