The Clover Point Drifters

We couldn’t do our 25th anniversary festival without Victoria’s Grandaddy’s of Bluegrass, The Clover Point Drifters.

The Drifters were at our first festival in 2001 in Sooke, B.C and have always been there when needed. Now in their 26th year, they are even older than the festival! Last with us in 2023, they have appeared numerous times over the years, endearing themselves to festival fans with humour, talent, wit and charm.

Band members Alan Law (guitar), Larry Stevens (dobro), Mike Kraft (banjo) and Dan Parker (mandolin) and George Robinson (bass), play bluegrass with a sprinkling of swing, country, folk, blues and pop melodies served up in the bluegrass style.

You can even become an honourary Drifter by having them back you up in a fun Bluegrass Karaoke session on our Chapel Stage. They will also do a main stage set on Saturday and lead a jam session in one of our acoustic tents. Schedule to come.
