The Lonesome Town Painters

Returning to the festival after a four-year absence, The Lonesome Town Painters are a high energy, traditional bluegrass band hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia.

These fellas have a look, style and sound that harkens back to the raw and ragged edge of the genre, drawing deeply from the masters of the golden era. Their act features songs from classic artists as well as original songs that are grounded in tradition, anchored by the soaring harmonies as well as driving and spirited instrumentation.

Members are Angelo Eidse (guitar, lead and backing vocals), Patrick Bartel (banjo, lead and backing vocals), Fred Beach (bass and backing vocals) and J​eremy Freeman (mandolin, lead and backing vocals).
