Bluegrass meets rockabilly with Jake Vaadeland, the reincarnated fusion of two of the most exciting foundational genres of North American music. Hailing from Cut Bank, Saskatchewan, the 22-year-old is a fresh blast-from-the-past with his high-energy band The Sturgeon River Boys.

Vaadeland had an impressive year in 2025 as Juno and CCMA Award winner with frenetic global tour of thee U.K., Spain, Denmark, the U.S., Germany, the Netherlands, and across Canada. He won his first Western Canadian Music Award and, like Kody Norris, knows how to out the show in show business.
