Talise

“Talise’s songs are straight from a country front porch; banjo in hand, Talise is folk, blues, and deeply North American.”

– KVRX.org

Known for powerful vocals and multi-instrumental talent, Talise is steeped in old-time, classic country, blues and folk for an evocative blend of Appalachian folk, Americana, and country-soul.

Her original material draws inspiration from the natural world, folklore, and the rich tapestry of North American musical traditions.

A nomadic wander and recent B.C. transplant form Ontario, Talise appeared at last year’s Woodstove festival in Cumberland and earlier this year at The Duncan Showroom with Elise LeBlanc.

She is joined at the festival by fiddle player Tynan Caine. Sunday, 1 p.m., Chapel Stage
